Harky’s outback camping & Leisure was formed from an idea that the Mallee area was not able to service the camping tourism properly and the local area has many hundreds of campers per year
So I opened up on the 4th of July 2014 and the business has grown I have all the camping needs and I service the locals with cycling repairs and sales, and fixing small motors as I am known for good service and good local knowledge of the Mallee area and a back up service for anything I sell and as the slogan says
WHAT YOU NEED, WHEN YOU NEED IT!
And over the past few months I have become known as the man who does Tag along tours around the local area taking people around to places of photographic delight and for those who are looking for just that right spot to camp out and away from the rat race. I also do bird watching tours around the Hindmarsh Lake and Albacutya Lake areas taking in some of the most picturesque areas in the Mallee.
And soon I will be taking on the information bureau for Hindmarsh shire in Rainbow
It just makes sense to have the information and local knowledge under one roof.
Night tours as well. Some of the best star pictures are from around the bush at night.
There are lots of places that have been left to the elements and you can use that to make some of the best photo opportunities.
And I can do painters tours there are some very back to nature spots around the Rainbow area.
The tag along tours started with just me helping out some of the many 4×4 people that came through at weekends and it grew into a side line of my business that shows the different colours of the dessert that surrounds Rainbow and I get to keep an eye on the eagle population in the parks.
